The Linguistics Tool is a work-in-progress pronunciation visualization tool created for The Department of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese at Penn State University, intended to assist non-native speakers produce unfamiliar sounds. The teeth and tongue rig will be animated into a series of short clips detailing jaw and tongue movement, air flow, and voicing of phonemes. The first iteration will focus on consonants in Spanish.
